Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE)

Early Childhood Family Education is for all birth-5 year olds and their parents. Events and activities are planned and set up for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and their parents throughout the year to promote leaning and exploring during the early years in your child’s life. Parenting topics are discussed, and activities are developmentally appropriate for your child to grow and learn at every age. Classes will be held on Thursday evenings either at the Oklee site preschool,
the Plummer site preschool, or the Brooks Community Center.



Thursday, October 5th: RLCC ECFE “Field Trip to the Plummer Fire Hall”
6:00-7:30 pm for all ages at the Plummer site.

Meet at the school for a soup and bread at 6:00 PM.
After supper we will tour the fire hall to learn about fire safety.
Bring your camera!!



Thursday, October 12th: RLCC ECFE “Field Trip to the Oklee Fire Hall”:

6:00-7:30 pm for all ages at the Oklee site.

Bring your camera for a tour of the Oklee Fire Hall.
Meet at the school
at 6:00 PM to have a soup and bread before touring the
fire hall to learn about fire safety.

Thursday, October 26th: RLCC ECFE Family Fun at the

Brooks Community Center: Nursery Rhymes-

“Make Believe Night”

6:00-7:30 pm for 0-5 year olds

Wear a costume!!

This year each family will be having fun with Nursery Rhymes and maybe
decorating pumpkins!! Come to try orange glurch, face painting, flannel
board stories, spider hats, Humpty Dumpty egg fun, lots of puzzles and taste
popcorn snack. Costumes are encouraged, but no masks or weapons, please.
Be prepared for a rhyming evening!

The Parent Toolkit is for parents of pre-kindergarten through high school students. It addresses the social emotional development, academic growth, physical development and nutritional needs of students. The Parent Toolkit is available in English and Spanish, as well as a mobile app.
